Temple, Descendants of Billy and Dora Aug 8, 1973:  The descendants and relatives of the late Billy and Dora Temple held their third annual reunion July 29 at the  old Palestine Methodist Church near Johnsville.  The invocation was given by C. O. Temple of Hope.  A deed for the land of the old church and cemetery was read.  The property was deeded to the church by the late Martin family, relatives of the Temple Family.  The family gathered in the church in the afternoon to sing some of the old Hymns of the past and were accompanied at the piano by Mrs. Laverne Stough of Texas.  Delbert M. Temple led in prayer.  Others attending the reunion were Jim Temple of Banks, who is the oldest living member, Mrs. Jim Temple, Mrs. Martha Kulbeth of Texas, Garry Temple of Warren, Mr. and Mrs. Purman Temple and children of Warren, Mr. and Mrs. Otha Temple, Mr. and Mrs. James Temple and children, Olen Temple and Allen Temple of Johnsville, Mrs. C.
